All of our services are free and open to families who have children ages 0-5 and are willing to grow and change. Parent Aid is a small non-profit organization that partners with families in a variety of ways. We offer parenting classes and workshop, utilizing the Active Parenting Curriculum. Our workshops typically last about 6 weeks and provide an overall insight on how to create a healthy and productive relationship with your children and enhancing family bonds.
We also offer our home visitation, our professionally trained Family Support Specialists develop a partnership with parents and work with families in their home. Together, during regular visits, we work on family goals including parenting skills, positive discipline, understanding child development, life skills and building a stronger support network through community resource awareness and utilization. Families who graduate from our program achieve a higher level of family functioning, increased skill and confidence in parenting, stronger family communication and overall healthier and happier children.
